So on this day we go down to Tahiti Beach to look for shells.
Tahiti Beach is a beautiful beach. Not very large at high tide but when the tide rolls out it is world class. The shells are few these days as folks have picked them over pretty good but it so nice there no one cares.

Radar certainly doesn’t care if there are shells or not.
All of this reminds me of a line from an old song.

We go down to Tahiti Beach
Watchin the people look at dey feet
Dey lookin for da magic shell
if dey find it—dey never tell

Sadie stayed on the boat when we left on the dink but we decided to go back, get her, and make her come with us to the beach. We’re very glad we did. She seemed to really enjoy the warm water and sand on her feet, her tail never stopped waggin. For years we have wanted to see her running on Tahiti Beach. She is almost the same color. She doesn’t run much anymore but it was really good to see her there just the same. Such a sweet, sweet girl. More pics here

And then there’s Radar, our crazy little Cuban Havanese, who seems to become demonically possessed when he hits the beach.

But what a fun little guy he is. He makes us laugh daily.

Happy days!!
